Today, President Trump has deemed places of worship as essential effective immediately. This means we will proceed with our gradual opening as discussed in last Sunday's sermon due to the decline in cases and deaths of COVID-19 in our state. Here are the following precautions:
- In-building services Sunday June 7 and Sunday June 21 - 25% capacity of the building filled (approximately 45 people) with social distancing (every other pew, 6 feet apart) - Your name must be on the list for the Sunday you plan to attend - Those who attend will only be permitted entry if they have a face mask/covering - If you are sick, please stay home - The church van will not run during this time
In order to be one of the 45 attending service, you must call (313-892-4724) to be placed on our list. The first 45 people will be able to attend the first service of the month. Anyone after that can attend the second service that month.
We will give preference to those who could not make Service 1 for Service 2. We will also resume live streaming these services for your viewing as well as posting pre-recorded services on the Sundays the church will not be open.
#Announcement. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we have to cancel our trip to Noah's Ark and the African American Museum this year. All payments will be returned in full to those who have paid/made deposits when we return to church. We miss you and hope you are continuing to stay safe and healthy! ... See MoreSee Less
